IWB Conference in New Zealand

First NZ and AUS International IWB Conference in September 2009

IWBNet will host the First NZ and AUS International IWB Conference at Westlake Girls High School in Auckland on 24, 25 and 26 September 2009.

The conference will be truly international with presenters coming from New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and South Africa.

Focus: (Maximising the Educational Benefits of your IWB)

The focus of the conference will be to challenge and encourage teachers to maximise the benefits of their IWB by pushing the boundaries of their IWB practice whether they be beginner, intermediate or advanced users.

Some of the topics being covered include:

  • Middle Syndicate Maths
  • Practice Turned Upside Down
  • Beginners Guide to IWB Usage
  • Don’t reinvent the wheel, just learn to change the tyres!
  • Whiteboard Wizards – Making the most of your peripherals

  • Teaching Spatial Patterns and Skills to Senior Geography Classes
